Wind Energy in West Texas
What country do you associate with windmills? Holland, Spain? How about West Texas? The desire to conserve a way of life and resist change has changed. Wind turbines are sprouting as fast as Texas wildflowers. This thing is taller than the Statue of Liberty. Windmills and wind turbines popping up all over West Texas. this is as small windmill. Most ranchers had a hard time breaking even in the cattle business, but the money from wind power has given ranchers some breathing room. Sweetwater, Texas, a former oil and gas town. Wind consortium, he invested his retirement savings to invest in wind power.
