West Texas Wind Energy
This guy is a little annoying, but he brings up an interesting point about the cost of building the transmission lines to take the wind energy from West Texas, which is sparsely populated, to the rest of the state. The electricity cannot be sent to other states because Texas is on its own grid. The transmission line project is apparently going to cost the energy consumers in Texas billions of dollars. I'd like to look further into this. Of course, even if the West Texas project is a total farse, wind energy is still a very real solution for our carbon-based energy woes.
